民主的な社会とは、誰もが自分の意見を率直に言えることが基本のはずです。とくに
教育の場には、そうした闊達さが欠かせないはずなのに、現実にはそれが押し潰され
ている場面が多く見られます。その一つが、学校行事における国旗国歌の拝礼と斉唱
の強制に、象徴的に現れています。
こうした強制が、教育になじまないことに心を痛め何らかの行動で自分の思いを訴えた
いと、多くの先生方が悩んでおられます。そして一方には、そうした一人一人の先生方を
励ましたいと思う人々もいるはずなのです。でも、その二つの思いを重なり合わせるため
の場は多くはありませんでした。
ここでは、実際に異議を唱える行動をされている先生方を、来るべき民主的な社会に向
けて先頭になって走っているランナーとして、心からの声援を送ろうとしています。トップ
ランナーの先生方に、精一杯の励ましや賛同の一言を贈ってほしいと願っております。
また、先生方は、ここでの励ましをお読みになって、是非とも元気になってください。
そして、よろしければ、お気持ちをお聞かせください。

In Japan now, the teachers have to be bowed against
the flag of Hinomaru at the
school ceremony. And they have to sing
loudly the national anthem Kimigayo.
The staffs of Board of
education have checked the degree of teacher's bowing,
and the loudness of
teacher's voice.
Some teachers think that enforcement is not suitable
for education. In Japan
previous, the all schools taught the militarism to
children. At that old days, all
students had to believe Japan is the land of
God as Kaminokuni. So now,
conscientious teachers have thought the school should not repeat same mistake.
This site is the hearten place for the sincere
teachers. Let's encourage the teacher
who does not sing Kimigayo.
Let's support the teacher who resists the compulsion
of
Hinomaru.
The teacher who makes a true democratic society should be called "Top Runner".
